Cooking provides practice in; the social skills of cooperation and sharing responsibilities, listening skills and ability to follow sequence, fine motor skills, sensory experiences, exposure to new foods, and new observations about where food comes from and how ingredients are put together. The students learn basic fractions for measuring, recipe terminology, and table manners. Also, it is a lot of FUN!!!! |
