Monarch Butterfly During the fall, in my backyard, I was fortunate enough to see the Monarch Butterfly during it's fall migration. The eastern side of my White Oak (Illinois state tree) tree was covered with hundreds of Monarchs. The Monarch migrates from Canada to a specific mountain range in Mexico without ever having been there before. Amazing!!
